Most of us know a DJ. They're the person who picks the music. How hard could it possibly be? Maybe the DJ is creating a beat in real time to an audience, or maybe they are scratching vinyl records. Those things certainly seem to require some skill and attention.
But what sort of talent is required to play a bunch of songs in a digital format? Or to press a button on a pre-programmed beat that someone else created? Surely, anyone can do that. ...or can they?
