We all have a perception on what marriage should look like, and when is the best time to get married. You may think marriage should happen at a really young age or that you need to wait until you’ve experienced more life. You may also think that your life will have value and a purpose once you’ve met the love of your life. The reality is that our lives aren’t complete or incomplete once we have or have not found the “right one.” My guest, Vendi Stepney, on today’s episode shares her journey of what happened when she was trying to find purpose in marriage at an early age and the red flags she ignored. She shares her experience at a conference that brought clarity and the realization that she needed to let go and move forward. She learned a lot along the way and has grown tremendously to the woman she is today.

Vendi also shares her journey as a singer and songwriter, starting from her early days in ministry to traveling and performing with her sister.
