In this episode I had the privilege of having Lesley Russell, the founder of EQUIP 210 a K-12 Alternative Education Program and movement on the show! We discuss the importance of raising our kids with an entrepreneurial spirit and education that supports their learning. I love the journey that God took lesley on when she was a mom and believe this episode will encourage any mom to start what God has put in their heart because you never know how He will use it to bring a global movement in the future!
Lesley Russell is an educational reformer, innovator, speaker, advocate for children, and visionary. Starting out her career in corporate America after college, she left to get her Master’s in Secondary Education and has homeschooled for over twenty years and was a youth leader for over 16 years. She is the founder of the K-12 Alternative Education Program and movement called EQUIP 210, formerly known as Independent Learning Academy, and founder of Next Generations Ministries. She has a weekly podcast called Reinventing Education with Leaders and Visionaries. She is also excited to be a part of the Children’s Educational Opportunity Act helping to bring $17K to each California student for the parent to decide where his or her child goes to school. She is also honored to be a part of the Delta Factor team with Jenny Donnelly’s Don’t Mess with Our Kids Movement. She is blessed to be married to her husband, Joe, for over 30 years and have four amazing and beautiful children in their teen and twenties who love Jesus and who are walking in their identity and calling in Christ.
