Dr T(Cochlear Excursions) Is an Audiophile dj with a discerning ear for all music that is well made. His choice of house music songs is heavily influenced by several genres mainly spiritual/Avantgarde jazz. He has a strong liking for the likes of Kahil El’Zabar/The Art Ensemble of Chicago/Cecil Taylor/William Parker amongst many others. Any production that has rhythmic and infectious bass lines that is laced with percussion that is layered finds favour with his ears. It is no surprise that productions by the likes of Ron Trent/Glenn Underground/Larry Heard will feature a lot on his mixes. Dr T has been Djying since the mid 90’s mostly to a crowd that is into a specific soundtrack. If there’s anything in this world, we love music.
