If you've visited a smoke shop in the past few years, there's a good chance you've come across Delta-8 and HHC products. Both are derived from hemp and are legal under the 2018 Farm Bill, offering effects similar to traditional Delta-9 THC. However, there are some significant differences between the two.

The Conversion Process
Delta-8 is created through a conversion process that begins with CBD isolate and ends with Delta-8. HHC, on the other hand, involves an extra step: converting CBD isolate into Delta-8 and then further transforming Delta-8 into HHC. Think of HHC as a more refined and stable cannabinoid.

Key Vaping Differences Between HHC and Delta-8
Delta-8 is known for its harsh vaping experience, often causing coughing and sneezing. The effects are not always enjoyable, leaving some feeling lazy or groggy. We give the Delta-8 high a C grade.
In contrast, vaping HHC is much smoother and more pleasant, without the coughing and sneezing associated with Delta-8. HHC offers a more cerebral head high, leaving you feeling elevated and uplifted, yet still focused and productive. It's an excellent choice for daytime use, earning a B or B+ grade.
The Cost Difference
When HHC was first introduced by our brand Baked HHC, it was quite expensive, making HHC products more costly than Delta-8. However, today the prices of HHC and Delta-8 oils are nearly identical, allowing for both to be sold at similar price points. If you're a regular Delta-8 user, we highly recommend giving HHC a try!
The Final Verdict
Given the choice, we'd pick HHC over Delta-8 every time.
