The Antwerp Diamond Heist was a large-scale robbery that took place in Antwerp, Belgium in 2003. Thieves used fake security credentials to gain access to the diamond district, where they stole roughly $100 million worth of diamonds, gold, and other precious gems. The heist remains one of the largest diamond thefts in history.
