Oh, by Jove, yes. We're back in 1979 when I was a little sprog. A small sprite who enjoys mod culture and has recently discovered ska music. My buddies and I sang along, danced, and dressed like Madness and The Specials. Not the bands; we were mad and became special people in an institution. Those pink pills were the bomb! Now, about the music. The Specials (of course), Gerry Rafferty, The Jam, Ian Dury & The Blockheads, The Police, The Stranglers, ELO, Sparks, and Roxy Music. The top ten albums include ELO, Tubeway Army, and Rainbow. August 1979: what a year!
