Irwin Incke Jnr. – Hope Ain’t a Hustle
Manage episode 418289777 series 3348486
Sometimes hope can feel like a scam – a swindle, a hustle. Not only do we have hope, but that hope cannot disappoint us because it’s been validated by God Himself.
Brent talks with Irwin Incke Jnr. about his new book on Hebrews published by IVP America called ‘Hope Ain’t a Hustle: Persevering by Faith in a Wearying World’.
Irwin is the coordinator of Mission to North America, part of the Presbyterian Church in America. Formerly he was pastor at Grace DC Church Presbyterian Church. In 2018 Irwin was unanimously elected as the 46th Presbyterian Church in America General Assembly Moderator – the first African-American to hold the position.
