I started with cattle when I was 13 years old and have been in love with ranching my whole life. But later, I got an auxiliary accountant degree which helped me create new businesses and to be successful I had to learn many new things. Later I became a dairy nutritionist while managing my own grazed dairy in the tropics. This was a new challenge but it helped me to understand the livestock health component when grazing and why it is so important to graze the way we do in the total grazing program.
You see, I am very optimistic and always trying to find better ways of building or creating a new whole, and a profitable livestock farm is a new whole with many parts that need to be in harmony to function correctly.
