With the Fort Wayne TinCaps game that started at 1:10PM this afternoon being an extra-inning extravaganza that unfortunately saw the ‘Caps get walked off for the second game in the row, today’s Sports Rush with Brett Rush was an abbreviated one! But have no fear, we’ll be back tomorrow with our full two hours of bringing you your local sports fix from 4 to 6! On today’s shortened show, Brett is joined on the guest line by the General Manager of the Fort Wayne Komets, David Franke! David and Brett discuss the offseason for the Komets and for David, and what the process is like trying to get the team ready for next season! David also talks to Brett about the renewal of the partnership between the Fort Wayne Komets and the Edmonton Oilers of the NHL, as well as the Bakersfield Condors of the AHL. Also on today’s show, Brett asks why the Indiana Fever continue to struggle after adding Caitlin Clark to a team that already had last year’s #1 overall Draft Pick.
