Leiden University recently named a new building for Egyptologist Herta Mohr. But who was she? The new Leiden University building bears the name of Herta Mohr. Her life story has become more clear over the past few years, largely thanks to the detective work of Egyptologist Nicky van de Beek. In this episode of the UBL podcast, Van de Beek talks about the wonderful life and tragic fate of Jewish scholar Herta Mohr. Leiden University is currently working on a new Middle Eastern Library.
