On this episode, we head on back to the old west, and step into the world of Longhair "Big" Jim Courtright...was he an outlaw, or a lawman, or both. Well, that's we are going try and find out!!!!
So, saddle up, grab your six-gun, we are heading to the late 1800's for this one...man is this a crazy, crazy true story of one of the most notorious old-west figures today. He had so many jobs, including that of a lawman in Fort Worth Texas redlight district. He was also known as being lightning fast on the draw, he carried 2 guns on his right hip, and had no qualms about putting a man down...why, well, because he was there. Sometimes acting as judge, jury, and executioner all before breakfast!
He hung around the likes of Bat Masterson, and Wild Bill...why this isn't a Hollywood blockbuster, or series on Netflix, is beyond me...there is a story here for the telling!!!!
Hope you enjoy the episode, what a great old-western American story of outlaws, lawlessness, and good ole fashioned meet up at noon for a gunfight in the street, the saloon, the barber shop, or hell, the local brothel!!!
