Heather tells the Rachel the case of Freweini "Winnie" Gebremicael, a mother who survived literal war, moved to Nashville and started a better life for her family. Winnie was well known and well loved in downtown Nashville. But in 2006 the unimaginable happened. Although family, friends, and many from the music city scene did what they could to rally around Winnie’s children and tried to find justice, the case still remains unsolved today.
Her family is offering an $11,000 reward for information that leads to a conviction in the case.
