The London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel, is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. Standing at 135 meters (443 feet) tall, it was the world's tallest Ferris wheel when it opened in 2000. The London Eye offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city's skyline, including landmarks such as Big Ben, St. Paul's Cathedral, and Buckingham Palace. Each of its 32 glass capsules can hold up to 25 people and takes about 30 minutes to complete a full rotation.
