Today's story is a wholesome hug!
Sending my son to the park alone revealed to me an example every human can relate to: Freedom is scary! Freedom is synonymous with Unknown. It can totally overwhelm us! As soon as we enjoy a sweet taste of a new freedom though, there's no turning back!
Just imagine all the opportunities given to a child who's willing to go to expand their daily world to include trips alone to the park - friends, games, outdoors, independence - all ripe for any child willing to risk it!
Plus, tips from my son for parents who are anxious about sending their kids out alone.
