Cofounder Capital is a North Carolina-based firm specializing in leading seed-stage B2B software investments throughout the Southeast. Tobi, a former investment banker and highly successful tech entrepreneur, hails from Germany but has called Raleigh-Durham home for the past decade. He holds an MBA from Germany’s WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and has amassed extensive experience in investment banking with Societe Generale in Paris, as well as Morgan Stanley in Frankfurt and London.
He later moved to the Triangle to co-found Shoeboxed, a SaaS fintech startup that enabled business owners to efficiently manage receipts, invoices, and automate bookkeeping. After a successful exit from Shoeboxed in 2018, Tobi brought his finance and marketing expertise to the team at Cofounders Capital.
