In this zany episode of Misadventures with Kiki and Cowboy, our dynamic duo starts off with a perfect storm of greetings and jokes about wrenches and tornadoes—Kiki's signature move being to metaphorically throw anything in her path, including Cowboy’s ego. They recount a wild ride through the Texas Hill Country on their trusty Honda Goldwing, whimsically named Miss Adventure. Cowboy, paranoid about a deflating tire, makes a dramatic pit stop only to blame the bike's sluggishness on Kiki's presence. After an awkward, couch-sleeping-induced revelation, he learns it’s all due to his overinflated tire, not Kiki’s weight—a realization met with much comedic relief and a few eye rolls from Kiki. The real adventure, however, unfolds in the sun-soaked lands of Des Moines, Iowa—err, Vermont according to Cowboy. Here, they shoot a promotional video for the delightfully quirky indie film "Sasquatch Sunset," involving bonobos who love watching movies and playing Minecraft. Amidst tripping hazards and guerilla (pun intended) filming techniques, Kiki's phobia of toppling expensive equipment keeps the suspense high. Despite her fears, she handles the middle camera like a pro while Cowboy buzzes around, capturing bonobos' reactions to their silver-screen counterparts. This hilariously heartwarming escapade ends with kudos for their film crew prowess and a shout-out to the bonobos' caregivers, cementing this as one of their most unforgettable misadventures.
