Monday night in Toronto, the Red Sox opened up their 6-game road trip with a 7-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. Sox hit 4 home runs in winning their third straight game and their sixth in their last eight games. Tyler O'Neil hit two solo home runs and went back-to-back with Rafael Devers in the first inning. Ceddanne Rafael and O'Neil hit solo home runs in the 3rd. O'Neil's second of the night made it 4-1. The Sox got at least 1 hit from 8 different hitters in the startling lineup. Connor Wong went 1-for-4 with a single and run scored and he's now hit in 10 in row. Nick Pivetta went seven innings and earned his 4th win of the season. Pivetta allowed three earned runs, walked only one and struck out 4. He gave up a pair of solo home runs. Former Red Sox hitter Justin Turner had a walk, double and home run off Pivetta.
