Christie Cloud (@ladybugxie)Christie is a seasoned virtual teacher with twenty-three years of experience in education. Additionally, she is an adjunct professor at Thomas University, where she teaches the Integration of Classroom Technology to teacher candidates. During her educational journey, Christie has received numerous accolades for her work, including an HP Fellowship, GaETC Rising Star, Nearpod North Star Teacher of the Year, and Empower Teacher of the Year. As a firm believer in the importance of a professional learning network, Christie is a co-founding member (known affectionately as OG5) of the EduGuardians. She has presented at numerous conferences and co-hosted Curicon 2023 and the Week of AI 2024. Christie is an enthusiastic supporter of edtech and believes in its potential to enhance learning experiences.
Alyssa Faubion (@FarmerFaubs)
Alyssa Faubion is an Instructional Design Coach at Forward Edge/Bethel-Tate, where she brings over a decade of expertise to enhance educational environments. Alyssa excels in integrating advanced technologies into the classroom, including artificial intelligence, which she uses to promote innovative problem-solving and creative learning among both teachers and students. Outside the classroom, Alyssa—affectionately known as Farmer Faubs—enjoys the tranquil life on her family farm, surrounded by her beloved animals. Much of her spare time is also dedicated to leading the EduGuardian community, of which she is a co-founder (affectionately known as OG5). She has had the pleasure of being selected as a Classroom Innovator for the 2023 AIR Show. Her work with AI and creative technologies exemplifies her dedication to pushing educational boundaries and preparing students for a rapidly evolving digital world.
