Psalms 127:1-5 NIV
Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat— for he grants sleep to those he loves. Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.
Psalm 128:1-6 NIRV
Blessed are all those who have respect for the LORD. They live as he wants them to live. Your work will give you what you need. Blessings and good things will come to you. As a vine bears a lot of fruit, so may your wife have many children by you. May they sit around your table like young olive trees. Only a man who has respect for the LORD will be blessed like that. May the LORD bless you from Zion. May you enjoy the good things that come to Jerusalem all the days of your life. May you live to see your grandchildren. May Israel enjoy peace.
Psalms 71:17-18 NIV
Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds. Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.
