Over the past several months, WNYC’s Community Partnerships Desk has engaged with people across the New York metro area on voting and the upcoming election at local laundromats through our 'Suds and Civics' initiative. Star Laundromat on Staten Island’s North Shore is one of our partner locations. Joining All Things Considered from there is WNYC Community Partnerships editor George Bodarky, alongside 14-year-old Stella Vrapi and 16-year-old Kaden Charles. Both are Staten Islanders involved in the NYC Votes Youth Ambassador program, aimed at increasing youth engagement in local elections.
