Initially inspired by the psychedelic trance scene, he began DJing psytrance in 2001, specializing in high-energy rhythms between 160 and 200 bpm, influenced by legends like Goa Gil. A pivotal moment in Shango's career came in 2017, after experiencing a performance by Ricardo Villalobos at Stereo Afterhour in Montreal. This event ignited his love for minimal house, transforming his musical style. Today, Shango's sets are a captivating blend of dark, atmospheric sounds, ranging from 118 to 125 bpm, featuring homemade rhythms and carefully selected vinyl records.
