Experience the excitement, energy, and passion from these two self-identified “Serial Entrepreneurs”. Work is fun for them. Most recently they re-started a Winery that had been closed for 4 years along with a Deli in Clocktower Village. Meet Julie Hockney (Interior Designer) and Holly Jones (commercial real estate owing 6-7 other businesses, specializing in retail and passionate about hospitality. They are approach once year anniversary 12/19/2023.
Find out what is different about a partnership ownership model and their respective roles. The winery was an established Omaha business, so they are respective and sensitive to the passing of former biz owner, so it was exciting for them to build upon something that was already good, entrusted to them and previously established and now adding a new fresh spin. They love hearing great stories from some of the customers, honoring and celebrating the history and re-opening with great things yet to come.

They stress the importance of the service experience, learn about what they are creating with great intention and consistency with great value along with education, along with the interior design paired with great food and wine spirits to gain their trust to go and tell other, marketing for them.
What did you learn that you needed to know with managing this joint venture? perishable inventory; product costs, reduce waste, increased labor costs, Hand made, home made – famous Chicken Noodle soup daily – consistency, fresh, available and affordable. Not easy, but rewarding. Customers say “Don’t you know it is the best Chicken Noodle Soup in all of Omaha!”

They expressed they do a lot of marketing, though need to do more even. The name has not changed, “The Winery” though it was closed for 4 years, and people need to “Re-Discover”, let the raving fans do the marketing too.
