William Wordsworth (1770–1850) was a major English Romantic poet who, with Samuel Taylor Coleridge, helped to launch the Romantic Age in English literature with their joint publication, "Lyrical Ballads" in 1798.

"Ode: Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood" is a complex and reflective poem by William Wordsworth. Written in 1802-1804, this ode explores the intense sense of awe and wonder with nature that children often possess
