Welcome back to Small Screen Couch Commentary with Alex and Billy! This week, we're diving into the chaos of The Boys' Season 4, Episode 7, titled "The Insider." Get ready for a wild ride as we dissect the episode's shocking moments and dark humor, all while providing our signature blend of insights and laughs.

The episode kicks off on the set of "The Avenue V Christmas Special," where a puppet A-Train lectures Ryan about antifa before breaking into a song that encourages kids to snitch on their parents. Ryan calls cut, questioning the show's morals, only to be told the lyrics were Homelander-approved. Talk about a twisted holiday special!

A-Train continues to help The Boys and the return of Butcher reveals to the team that he was behind Sameer's disappearance.

With MM trying to focus on his family's safety, he gives Monique $10,000 and tickets to Belize, urging her and Janine to leave the country. Monique kisses MM, trying to convince him to come with them, but he initially refuses.

Butcher, Annie, and Hughie break into an apartment linked to someone that Sage was recruiting finding a folder with plans to assassinate Robert Singer on January 6.

Frenchie and Kimiko watch Sameer work on the virus, noting Butcher's odd behavior, including talking to himself. Frenchie and Kimiko decide to free Sameer after he completes the virus, despite Butcher's orders but things take a turn for the worst once Sameer finishes his work.

Homelander fires Sage, sending her back to Detroit as her grand plans seemingly begin to unravel, or do they?
