A state court judge’s ruling will keep an abortion-rights question on the November ballot in South Dakota. The judge dismissed a lawsuit brought by the pro-life group, the Life Defense Fund that sought to have the question removed even though supporters turned in more than enough valid signatures to put it on the ballot.

Judge Throws The Book At Alaska Killer

Saying the man who was found guilty of torturing and killing two Alaska women treated his victims as horribly as anyone could be treated, a judge sentenced Brian Steven Smith to a total of 226 years in prison.
