Boomer and Jerry discuss their takeaways from talking to Michael Rubin and learning about both his story and vision. Boomer thinks that even more smoke has been added to the Davante Adams to the Jets rumors. Boomer dreams up some future football front offices and coaching staffs. CLo returns for his final update of the day and begins with Dianna Russini saying that Aaron Rodgers is not happy with how the Jets handled his absence from mini camp. Boomer confirms that report and says Robert Saleh could have avoided all of this by not saying the word “unexcused”. CLo found a clip of Mike Tomlin giving a motivational speech. We hear Tiger’s response to Colin Montgomerie. The Moment of The Day involves a movie about Boomer’s Italian football camp. In the final segment of the day, Jerry can’t believe how much stress Joe Schoen was under in Hard Knocks. Then Jerry asks Boomer if the Aaron Rodgers situation will blow over. He says it immediately will. Boomer says the NFL did the Jets a favor with the schedule and granted their request to open on the road.
