-Sankey, the SEC commissioner, was on 1010AM in Jacksonville, Fla., and said “Georgia was one of the best four teams in the nation but didn’t get in the playoff. But you didn’t see us jumping up and down and complaining and hanging national championship banners.”

-This is an obvious shot at Florida State---now, to the Seminoles’ credit…there was already an SEC team in the playoff (Alabama) and none from the ACC, so maybe that’s where they’d fire back…
