Welcome back to Episode 2 of our Haunted Hotel Chronicles!
This week's eerie escape offers you two different stays! The gals explore the history and hauntings of the James Fairfield House and the Nathaniel Lord Mansion both in Kennebunkport, Maine. These houses are part of the Kennebunkport Captain's Collection, which consist of four houses total.
If you feel like you might be walking into a catalog, don't worry! Theses houses, while renovated, still maintain their charm from their former time. And also, there's ghosts!
In this week's Signs, Synchronicities, and Spectral Sightings Chat shares a sign that her uncle still celebrates the 4th of the July with her and her family. And Melly shares a spectral sighting during her visit at the historic home of former president Franklin Pierce.
Melly shares the history of the Captain James Fairfield and his brother-in-law, Nathaniel Lord. Tune in to hear about their interesting family tree, their imprisonment, and their deaths.
You'll also learn that you must be careful when participating in honeymoon-like activities during your stay at one of the inns, otherwise you might get a vanishing visitor!
If you're comfortable with the spirits of the kind and welcoming former owners still hanging about then you'll definitely want to check out the James Fairfield House & the Nathaniel Lord Mansion.
