Brent Smith and Zach Myers of Shinedown tell us the band’s eighth album is “about 35 percent” done. Smith says it’s “pretty solid that April or May of next year is when the release will be” and that “you’ll hear music from it maybe sooner than you think, but at the end of the day it’s got to be right for us when we put it out.”

Weezer have their own wall in Brooklyn. A company called Square Design had a blue wall that is the same color of the band's 1994 debut, so Weezer reached out to the company and had someone paint their name and an outline of the band members on to replicate the cover.
