Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes in Michael Whatley, co-chair of the Republican National Committee, onto the Dom Giordano Program to hear his thoughts on the fluid environment that’s become the 2024 presidential election following an assassination attempt, convention, and withdrawal of Biden from the debate. Whatley takes us behind the scenes and into the party as they turn to prepare for Kamala Harris and an unannounced vice presidential candidate, telling us whether the Trump team is interested in a debate.

Then, Dom welcomes in Officer Mark Dallas, a retired school resource officer from out in Dixon, Illinois, who thwarted a school shooting at a graduation rehearsal a couple years back by shooting and wounding the assailant. Dallas was invited on the show after a new budget was passed within the past few weeks in Pennsylvania that suggests all school districts employ an armed security guard. Dallas takes us through the sad day, and explains why his presence saved many lives, telling how he hopes to help to train incoming resource officers. (Photo by Brandon Bell/Getty Images)
