Hey there folks, welcome to your favorite neighborhood weather update! Today we're diving into the forecast for 4 Miles Northeast of Chicago in Illinois, so if you're in the Windy City or nearby, listen up.
So, what's in store for us? Well, for today, we're looking at a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. It'll be mostly sunny with a high near 84 degrees. The wind will be coming from the west-northwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour, shifting to the east later on.
Tonight, that chance of showers and thunderstorms increases to 50 percent, mainly after 1 am. Expect partly cloudy skies with a low around 72 degrees. The wind will be playing musical chairs, starting off from the southeast and switching to the southwest after midnight.
Moving on to Wednesday, there's a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms with a high near 90, and it might feel like 95 with the heat index values. South winds at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
As we head into the rest of the week, we're looking at a mix of showers, thunderstorms, and some clearer skies, so make sure to keep an eye on your umbrellas and sunglasses.
