Today, we talk to the leaders of the GW research team, nutrition scientist Leigh Frame, PhD, MHS, and GW medical student researcher Jacob Hands, who looked at cocoa products in the U.S., lead, and other heavy metal contaminants. Some of the key findings will surprise you. This unique study was conducted by researchers from the Frame-Corr Lab here at GW, the GW Resiliency & Well-being Center, GW Integrative Medicine Programs, and Consumer Labs. Dr. Frame is an associate professor, Department of Clinical Research & Leadership, associate professor, Physician Assistant Studies, program director, Integrative Medicine, executive director, Office of Integrative Medicine and Health, associate director, Resiliency & Well-Being Center, and co-director of the Frame-Corr Lab here at the GW School of Medicine & Health Sciences.
