Lauren Brill is the founder of The Unsealed, an online writing community that shares inspirational open letters that encourage strength and compassion. Brill is a former television sportscaster at stations WIVB in Buffalo, New York, and WEWS in Cleveland, Ohio and MSG Varsity in metropolitan New York,
City. While in Cleveland , Brill wrote an open letter detailing her experience with sexual violence while in college . The online letter went viral, and in a way, led to her starting The Unsealed on July 24,2019.
Since its inception, the on line community has shared inspiring letters of people from close to 200 countries worldwide. For Lauren, it’s always been about story telling.
