Have you ever felt God nudge you to do something challenging?
We're back with another life update. From high stakes to minor conflicts, we dig deep into the real battles that test our resilience every day. Despite the chaos, we find strength in our unity and ability to laugh even sometimes when we probably shouldn't.
As you may remember, we recently found mold in our home, leading to an exhaustive (and expensive!) remediation process. We open up about the significant toll it took but also celebrate the invaluable lessons learned—like the importance of accepting help and prioritizing health. Amidst the turmoil, our beach trip with friends offered a much-needed breath of fresh air. It was a reminder that experiences and the support of good friends are worth more than any financial worry.
We dive into our foster care journey, sharing the emotional rollercoaster of accepting a newborn into our lives. Faith played a crucial role in reaffirming our commitment to fostering, and we reveal how our experiences have inspired others to pursue the same path.
Wrapping up, we discuss our financial journey, highlighting the sacrifices and unexpected expenses along the way. We thank our listeners for their unwavering support and share our excitement for upcoming episodes, including an insightful interview with our friend Kristin Nave on studying the Bible.
Buckle up, tune in, and enjoy the ride!
Episode Highlights:

  • We kind of like each other.
  • Here’s a little life update.
  • Our mold remediation experience.
  • Corey shaved his head.
  • We said ‘yes’ again.
