On a recent writing camp at Empire Records Studios in San Francisco, Soul Clap linked with this remarkable talent, who’s sound has shaped this record into a vibe to remember this summer. Charles Levine knew instantly Khyenci was special. “When I first heard Khyenci’s voice and range, I knew she had skills but working with her over a week of workshop sessions, I can now see the power and capacity she has as a force of singing and songwriting.
