The Met police chief, Sir Mark Rowley, has praised the “show of force and unity from communities” that defeated the threat from far-right troublemakers yesterday, after thousands of anti-racism protesters lined streets of the capital.


Our Crime Correspondent, Anthony France, explains what exactly happened, how racist thugs are being fast-tracked through our justice system, and discusses whether this could be the beginning of the end of the riots.
