On this episode of, Living in the Borderland.

One of the most tragic events in the history of the US military happened on October 23, 1983. Hezbollah killed 241 U.S. military personnel in a terrorist bombing of the Marine Corps barracks in Beirut, Lebanon. Minutes later, a second suicide bomber also killed 64 others that included French paratroopers and innocent Lebanese civilians.

Out of the horror of this event and the aftermath comes a story of one particular soldier's vow to always be faithful, Semper Fi.

How does this beautiful story tie into the first 3 chapters of the book of Genesis? Listen to find out.
