Today on the Forward Creative Podcast, I had Emma G on an award-winning musician, author, and youth empowerment coach, Emma has had a lifelong battle with a rare neurological condition called hydrocephalus. Emma been able to use music to recover from multiple traumas, including ten brain surgeries, by writing and singing her truth, sharing experiences, and turning her lessons into blessings. Emma has unique style that marries the styles of pop, soulful ballads, and a gritty rock edge.
Also, Emma gave a TED Talk at TEDx Rockville about How Song Writing and Music Saved Emma after ten brain surgeries.
Now on a mission to save the world one song at a time, not just through her own music, but also by coaching teenagers to channel their voices and struggles through the powerful tool of songwriting.
