The two-pot retirement system will be coming into effect soon (1 September 2024) and will allow individuals to make limited withdrawals from their retirement savings before reaching retirement. Lester Kiewit speaks to Prof. Prince Sarpong, Associate Professor, School of Financial Planning Law in the Faculty of Law at UFS, to discuss the various macroeconomic scenarios we might be seeing once the system comes into effect.
