Selling out. What bands or artists do you know of that have "sold out"? What does that phrase even mean any more in an age where everyone of every age has a "brand" spread across social media, where everyone shamelessly monetizes every aspect of their personality or tries to make money from every hobby they undertake? Everyone's trying to make a buck these days, yet there are still holdouts who believe some artists have sold out. This week, we discuss the ins and outs of selling out in the music industry - whether it's even a consideration these days or how it impacts authenticity (or if it even does/can).
