The plaintiff says the defendant’s dog mauled her dog in front of her daughter, and her pet didn’t survive. The police traced the dog in question to the defendant, but he refused to compensate the plaintiff for her loss, so she’s suing. The defendant denies that his dog killed the plaintiff’s dog and insists it’s a case of mistaken identity.

The plaintiff says she hired the defendant, a photographer, to take pictures for a birthday photo shoot, but he botched the job. The plaintiff says the defendant is a phony, and she still hasn’t received the physical photos, so she’s suing for a refund. The defendant insists he has no idea what the plaintiff is talking about because the plaintiff loved the work and posted the digital photos onto Facebook without his permission. The defendant is countersuing for copyright infringement.
