Scot Bertram, President Joe Biden will visit Michigan next Friday

Here are 3 big things you need to know— One — Vice President Kamala Harris blames Donald Trump for stopping a bipartisan border deal. Harris said the former president told his allies in Congress not to put the bill forward after learning the bill would enhance border security. The Democratic presidential nominee made her comments during an exclusive joint interview with CNN.
Two ---- Former President Trump says he'll push for allowing new parents to deduct "major newborn expenses" from their taxes if he's elected in November. He made those comments during a rally in Michigan on Thursday. Earlier in the day at a Wisconsin campaign event, he said he would require the government or insurance companies to pay for in vitro fertility treatments.
And number three — President Joe Biden will visit Michigan next Friday. Where he will be speaking has not been announced. The White House says Biden will be discussing his "Investing in America" agenda. This will be his fourth visit to the state this year after previously visiting Saginaw once and the Detroit area twice.
