In this episode, we follow Abram’s journey from Shechem down to the area of Bethel, where he builds an alter to Yahweh. Since Yahweh appeared and spoke to him and promised him land, it was a special moment in Abram’s life, and he built an altar while he was there however he continues south into the southern desert territory after a bit of time.
