Some people believe that God's plan is to snatch Christians away from earth and into heaven, yet that doesn't seem in line with what we see in Scripture. Instead, the family of faith is called to "heaven-ize" the earth, bringing the life of heaven down to our imperfect world. Society will tell you that secular humanism allows for freedom of religion, but even in a society that deems itself religiously neutral, someone's ideas will inevitably dominate. Their idea of heaven puts man on the throne as supreme leader, but man's laws will only lead to misery and slavery. If we want to be truly free and flourishing, our country must nourish the biblical values that it were once founded upon.
