Suddenly Mr Moscowitz has no money. The Chatam Sofer lends money to Mr Moscowitz and gives him a directive " Make the first deal"
" But what if it is impossible or ridiculous?"
" Make the first deal and Hashem will bless you with success."
The first deal was purchasing a boatload of tea from China, but he only had a few rubles.
"Impossible. Do I listen to the Rabbi or not?"
