Ahead of US non-farm payrolls data due out later today, and following the latest developments in the Middle East, European and US stock markets closed lower yesterday. Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea, however, had a positive session as mainland China continued to enjoy the Golden Week holiday. Tim Gagie, Head of FX & PM Solutions Geneva, provided his weekly update on what to watch in the currency markets, covering the US dollar, the Swiss franc, the British pound and the Japanese yen.
