My media channels all go to Garth Heckman starting today… Today I uploaded a clip of me unloading a 30 round mag in my new Glock 19X and then add some flavor to it with another weapon thrown in…

Text me 30 second interviews of you asking people “whats it take to be a man” (and send me yours as well) Please let people know this is not a gender question… just simply in each persons mind we have a simple theory of what it takes to be a man… I will post them on all my social meads channels… hey I would love to hear from women as well. There are no right or wrong answers… and I don’t just want christian men, so if a guy cusses we will edit it out if its really bad.

2 Chronicles 2:5 “The temple I am going to build will be great, because our God is greater than all other gods. 6 But who is able to build a temple for him, since the heavens, even the highest heavens, cannot contain him? Who then am I to build a temple for him, except as a place to burn sacrifices before him?

(6) But who is able.—Literally, who could keep strength? (See 1Chronicles 29:14.)

The heaven . . . cannot contain him.—This high thought occurs in Solomon’s prayer (1Kings 8:27; 2Chronicles 6:18).

Who am I then . . . before him?—That is, I am not so ignorant of the infinite nature of Deity, as to think of localising it within an earthly dwelling. I build not for His residence, but for His worship and service. (Comp. Isaiah 40:22.)

To burn sacrifice.—Literally, to burn incense. Here, as in 2Chronicles 2:4, used in a general sense.

We are blessed to have the Holy Spirit living inside of us… but lets not kid ourselves… we still cannot fathom the potential and the depth of who he is. Yes he lives in us, and yes we house the Holy Spirit… but his spirit has not yet been fully revealed nor the potential experienced by us mortal humans…

Thus I still come back to a simple understanding… even though I have his spirit living inside me… I am still on my own seen as a place of sacrifice. I may not be able to house and experience everything the Holy Spirit is… but I can still continue to live as a dwelling place for his sacrifice. Might I be a sacrifice unto the Lord daily… my body, my emotions, my mind, my soul… i.e. my wants needs desires… they are all housed in me to simply be sacrificed for his greater good. Remember what Romans 12:1 says: I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship… His spirit abides in us and we worship that spirit by daily sacrifice… Again what Did 2 Chron. 2 say… all this temple is good for is sacrifice…

And because WE cannot possibly house all that he is… we CAN sacrifice all that we are.
