In this episode we speak with Geddy Van Elburg from Holland, who is owner of Ion Moon (founded in 2008), she has been working in the Internet Marketing Industry for around 16 years after a career as a textile artist.

Primarily Geddy worked as a search engine specialist (SEO) at an agency called Exxtra. Followed by usability and search engine advertising (SEA), but always with a link towards web analytics.

Geddy studied web analytics at the UBC and became a certified web analyst in 2010. She was a guest lecturer at University Saxion. (Minor Internet Marketing).

In her work she combines persona’s and human behavior with online behavior to enhance conversion rates. As Geddy still does a lot of SEO consultancy, whilst also playing a role as a web analyst. Mostly it depends on the client and whether they have an SEO consultant on board. Her clients use both analytics and Adwords and this is why we have her as our guest today – so we can find out more about this topic.
