Just the Slips Episode 44:
We have a special treat for you this week for Just the Slips Episode 44! Our own Seth Manhammer has been very busy this week, I can only assume he is off starting his rap career. With that in mind I wanted to share with all our listeners his lyrics for his Moonlight rap. This is of course in honor of Moonlight not only winning Best Picture at the Oscars but because they have the even more prestigious honor of being our round-table this week. Without further adieu please Seth take it away:
“Kevin’s palms are sweaty
He’s knuckles deep in Chiron’s spaghetti
He’s nervous, but on the surface he looks calm and ready
He gives him the tug of his life,
it’s so nice,
didn’t even have to think twice
Tears rolling down his cheek like drops, it’s rainin
Black ain’t so Little no more, he’ll be prayin’
for the day Kev makes him some good Cuban food
and he won’t be afraid of cuddlin with a dude”
There you have it folks, straight from the mind of the Just the Slips Host! Be sure to e-mail him for any bookings or if you want him to perform the full version on the next podcast!
Don’t forget about our weekly giveaway! We also share some home video news, bring you the new releases for the week, and share what we have been watching also.
